Plagiarism
Anti-plagiarism Policy
In 2026, a cooperation agreement was signed with Khmelnytskyi National University for the provision of access to the software used for document analysis within the Anti-Plagiarism system.
Authors submitting materials for publication in the journal Mathematical Machines and Systems confirm that the manuscript is original, has been written by them, has not been previously published, and is prepared specifically for this journal.
The level of originality, as well as the presence and completeness of required citations and bibliographic data, are assessed by reviewers. In cases where plagiarism is detected, the Editorial Board returns the manuscript to the authors without the right of resubmission.
Forms of plagiarism include:
- the use (including verbatim citation) of any material, in any amount, without proper source attribution;
- the use of borrowed images, drawings, photographs, tables, graphs, charts, or any other form of graphical information without attribution;
- the use of materials without written permission from authors or copyright holders when such materials are not authorized for use.
All cases of improper borrowing are considered individually.
Forms of improper borrowing include:
- failure to clearly distinguish (e.g., quotation marks) verbatim borrowed text despite attribution;
- incorrect or incomplete bibliographic description that prevents proper identification of the source;
- referencing a secondary source without indicating the original source of the borrowed material;
- absence of in-text citations for sources listed in the reference list;
- excessive quotation (even when properly cited), when the volume is not justified by the genre and purpose of the article.
In the case of confirmed plagiarism in published articles, authors are denied the right to publish in future issues of the journal. The article will be removed from the archives of the official website and other publicly available platforms for which the journal Mathematical Machines and Systems is responsible.
